CA-47 is proving to be a critical race in deciding the House majority.
This is the only open Democratic-held seat in California, and that’s attracting serious attention.
The national GOP is targeting CA-47 as one of their must-flip seats to maintain power. They are lining up behind our extreme Republican opponent Scott Baugh, who narrowly lost to Rep. Katie Porter in 2022.
CA-47 is also garnering attention from the media. The
Orange County Register highlighted our district as a key to the House majority. And the
Cook Political Report recently ranked our race as one of the most competitive in the entire country!
Our team is on the ground in Orange County every day -- knocking on doors, organizing community events, gathering volunteers, and making calls -- because keeping this seat blue for the sake of our OC community is my top priority.
