Census Bureau Releases New Version of OnTheMap With 2021 LODES Data

The U.S. Census Bureau today released updated versions of the?Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics (LEHD) Origin-Destination Employment Statistics (LODES)?data product and the?OnTheMap?and OnTheMap for Emergency Management applications.

The new LODES 8.1 data includes 2021 data. OnTheMap and LODES now contain 2002-2021 employment data for most states ? exceptions include data for Alaska from 2017 to 2021 and Arkansas and Mississippi from 2019 to 2021.

The OnTheMap and OnTheMap for Emergency Management applications are supported by the state partners under the?Local Employment Dynamics (LED) partnership?with the Census Bureau.?
