The Young Democrats of America are pleased to announce the list of our appointed officers, pending confirmation, for the 2023-2025 biennium. This group of dedicated young Democrats from different corners of the country will fill out the rest of the national YDA leadership for the next two years. The appointed national and regional leadership of YDA is represented by Young Dems from 35 States and Territories.

These appointees will carry out many important duties for the Young Democrats of America and oversee the work of our constitutionally required committees on Rules, Resolutions, Diversity and Outreach, and Meetings and Site Selection.

The YDA National Officers will be joined again by Chief of Staff Matt Royer, along with Deputy Chiefs of Staff Lia Inman, Joshua Rush Nisenson, James Wells, Dorian Palmer, Kal Tedder, Communications Director Micah Wallace, General Counsel Tazbir Alam, in addition to 40 other appointed officers and committee officers.

In addition to our national appointments, the Regional Vice Presidents have made appointments to the various committees and created several additional new non-statutory positions. Between the four regions, there are over 20 individuals to fill these new regional positions that will help support the essential organizing work within each of YDA's four regions, along with 12 appointed committee members.

"With our national and regional appointments finally in place, we are excited to roll up our sleeves and get to work." YDA President Quentin Wathum-Ocama commented. "We knew it would take a lot of time to finalize appointments in line with our new governing documents, but we are fired up for all the potential this dynamic group of leaders brings to the table for the rest of the biennium."
