Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It's an exciting week as I participated in two panels to discuss the future of American clean energy, both at-large and in the transportation sector.
Kicking off the week, I took the stage at the U.S. Clean Energy Transition Conference. I was proud to provide a conservative perspective on the many economic and environmental opportunities that clean energy offers, while discussing how policymakers can overcome remaining challenges.
I then switched gears and discussed the value of an all-of-the-above approach to reducing transportation emissions at POLITICO Live’s event, The Sustainable Future: Driving Toward Clean Fuel. I was excited to highlight the need for a technology-neutral strategy that strengthens the United States economy and national security, reduces emissions in the transportation industry, and diversifies our clean energy portfolio, as recognized in CRES Forum’s recently published white paper.
These discussions were not only a chance to spotlight CRES’ work to advance conservative, commonsense energy solutions with fellow policy experts, industry leaders, and lawmakers, but they were also an opportunity to contribute to the broader discussion on policy that provides Americans with reliable, cleaner, and more affordable energy.
Stay tuned for recordings of both of these events, so you don’t miss out!
Sincerely,
|
