John:
In 2021, Victory Institute announced the launch of the LGBTQ+ Political Hall of Fame, aimed at honoring the LGBTQ+ elected officials, appointed officials and candidates who made significant contributions to advancing LGBTQ+ political power and equality.
Now, we're honored to announce three more out leaders who will be inducted as the 2023 class at the 2023 International LGBTQ+ Leaders Conference: former Texas State Representative Glen Maxey, former Massachusetts state Senator Jarrett Barrios and California State Senate President pro Tempore Toni Atkins!
November 30 – December 2, 2023
Washington, DC
Each of these leaders have dedicated their careers to furthering LGBTQ+ equality, fighting bravely for progress. Running as an out and proud leader takes great courage – especially when you’re the first in your city or agency, state legislature or even in the country.
This Hall of Fame is an opportunity to ensure their contributions are forever remembered and to honor the future leaders who will advance representation for our community. We're so excited to celebrate their many contributions and outstanding legacies - hope you can join us for Conference. Register here!
See you there,
Elliot Imse
