According to POLITICO, abortion rights will be a crucial issue for New York voters next year, as a constitutional amendment on the ballot will ask whether these rights should be codified into law.

So tell us, John, are you prepared to vote against politicians determined to take away our freedoms?

Our government was on the brink of another shutdown this week, potentially costing taxpayers billions. In addition to having to suffer the consequences of Republicans’ inability to govern, New Yorkers must grapple with the fight to protect our fundamental freedoms.

Extremist GOP figures like Mike Lawler are supporting efforts to ban same-sex marriage and restrict our bodily autonomy. John, we've already witnessed the impact of overturning Roe v. Wade in decisions released in June 2023 — now more than a dozen states have enacted restrictive abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or incest.
