Dear John,
My wife, Joanna and I just had our first child, Cody, and despite our excitement and anticipation for the wonderfully bright future we envision for him, I’m terrified.
It terrifies me that people would hang a Swastika at a rally for a Jewish candidate; it terrifies me that people applaud our economy when the rich get richer and the middle and lower classes are experiencing wage stagnation; and it terrifies me that my own party is too afraid to embrace ideas that would truly make my baby boy’s future better, like the Green New Deal and Medicare for All.
That’s why we need leaders like Lorena Garcia who will fight for my child’s future and deliver on what many deem as “empty promises.” We can’t afford more defeatists who lack any sort of a vision for our country. We NEED someone who will fight to make things better!

Lorena has the vision, drive, and fortitude to right the ship and deliver on a future I’m proud to pass onto my newborn boy. But it’s going to take us having some fortitude to put our reservations and prejudices aside, as throw all of our support behind someone who actually deserves it.
I’m sick and tired of candidates and leaders who feel entitled to represent us. We don’t have to look far to wonder why caucus and primary turnouts are low. People are disengaging.
Please join me in supporting the only candidate who is engaging with all Coloradans and help her get on the ballot by signing her petition or leaving a modest contribution to her campaign.
Join me, Joanna, and Cody in getting Lorena Garcia elected as our next U.S. Senator! |
