In New Jersey and across the country, we’re facing unprecedented issues that are testing people’s faith in Washington: dangerous climate change, attacks on our fundamental rights, gridlock and dysfunction in Congress and a crisis in maternal health.

As New Jersey’s First Lady, and now as your Democratic candidate for Senate, I'm tackling the issues that matter head-on.

Over the last six years, I’ve been leading the fight to ensure climate change is being taught in our public schools — making New Jersey the first state in the nation with a climate change curriculum.

I've been fighting the injustices in our healthcare system that put moms and babies, especially those in Black and Brown communities, at risk. Since making maternal health my top priority, New Jersey improved from 47th to 27th in the nation for maternal deaths.

And as a mom myself, I know how hard it can be to raise a family. In Washington, I’ll fight with all I’ve got to make life a little bit easier — by protecting our fundamental rights, keeping our children and communities safe, and making everyday expenses more affordable.

Bob Menendez can no longer be an effective voice in the Senate. It’s time for new leadership.
