Dear john,
Today, I announced over $1.2 billion in federal funding for South Texas on the two-year anniversary of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law being signed into law. This landmark law has provided critical funding for South Texas roads, broadband, water systems, airports, and legacy pollution cleanup. These projects are improving quality of life and creating good-paying jobs.
The federal funds I helped secure ensures South Texans have the necessary infrastructure to get to and from home, work, and school safely, and primes our communities for economic development and growth. I helped pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law in 2021 to revamp our infrastructure, and we will continue to see the results of this law for years to come. In Congress, I will continue to fight to improve our infrastructure.
