Johnson Scores First Win, Dodging Shutdown and Year-End Bloat |
by Suzanne Bowdey |
That sound you hear in Washington, D.C. is every congressional staffer breathing a sigh of relief. For once, the Hill will be home at a reasonable time for Christmas - not staring down another government shutdown or stuffing an unread trillion-dollar omnibus down the Democrats' chimney. In the real first hurdle of Speaker Mike Johnson's (R-La.) young tenure, the House did as he asked: they passed a budget bridge to next year that spares America a whole lot of headaches. |

'We March for a Light over Darkness': The D.C. Israel Rally |
by Sarah Holliday |
"I was told there was gonna be 90 people here," said a woman as she walked among the masses. On the National Mall Tuesday, hundreds of thousands gathered from across the U.S. to stand firm amid horrendous controversy and anti-Semitism. But despite those in opposition, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) proclaimed boldly, "We are here united - Democrat and Republican - to say, 'We stand with Israel." |

by Joshua Arnold |
All nine Supreme Court justices signed a Code of Conduct included in a 15-page statement the court released Monday. Davis began by explaining, "This is absolutely Democrat lawfare and election interference. It is unprecedented. It is very dangerous to democracy that the Democrats pretend like they are protecting." |

They smashed a window but fled the scene in "a red vehicle" when one agent fired his service weapon. |

Israel: On Our Minds and Hearts |
by Lt. Gen. (Ret.) William G. Boykin |
Since October 7, Israel has continuously been in our thoughts and prayers. The exposure of Hamas's brutal hatred for Israel's Jewish people continues to distress us. We've both spent considerable time in the Jewish State during different decades and for different reasons. And now, following Hamas's diabolical massacre in southern Israel and its military aftermath, we are reflecting on beloved Israeli friends - some who have passed on, and others who are still fighting today. |

Law Enforcement Expose Elite Prostitution Ring |
by S.A. McCarthy |
Law enforcement officials are exposing a sex-trafficking ring that allegedly counted politicians, military brass, Big Tech, and Big Pharma executives as "customers." According to the U.S. attorney's office for the district of Massachusetts, three men were arrested last week for reportedly operating a network of high-end, expensive, exclusive brothels, catering to the elite of Boston and Washington, D.C. |
