Last month, as I signed the budget, I said that it was a down payment on the progress that we need to make as a state.

We need to do what is right and save our taxpayers over $230 million and help to lower health insurance premiums by 11%.

That is why I am calling on the Republican majority in the legislature to do what is responsible and just say yes to expanding Medicaid here in Wisconsin.

I can't do it alone though. I need to get as many supporters as possible to sign on and demand the Republican majority expand Medicaid. Can you click here and join me?

Wisconsinites send over $19 million in federal tax dollars to other states to pay for expanding Medicaid there.

Those tax dollars should be put to use in our healthcare system.
