Like many cities across the country, Denver faces complex challenges: rising gun violence, school violence, thefts that hurt working families, the fentanyl and methamphetamine epidemic, and all the issues of substance abuse and people living on the streets.
As Denver District Attorney, I pledge to earn and sustain the trust of our community to meet these challenges head-on. Together, we will create real results with swift, fair, and certain consequences for violent crime, as well as use creative problem-solving working with the community to build trust and stop crime before it even starts.
Tonight’s event isn't just a celebration; it's the beginning of an important dialogue about Denver's future. I look forward to sharing more about my priorities and the changes I am advocating for.
