It’s Opening Day, John!
Time to don the cameo and hope that all the work you put into cleaning out your blind, clearing your shooting lanes, and planting that strategically placed corn works in your favor. And, not just as a playground for the squirrel that sounds, always, like the monster buck of your dreams.
My daughter, Mae, got a four point at the youth hunt this year (pictured above). So, my husband Matt is looking forward to a kid-free hunt with grandpa and the uncles. (I think she’s the luck - so we’ll see.)
At any rate, we’ll have either jerky or stories or both after this weekend.
But while they are out in the field, I’ll be at home hunting for the other kind of “bucks” - yup - you guessed it - the kind that’s green and what I need to get to Congress. I won’t be successful without your support. Chip in today (and, as always, THANK YOU):
