John,
It's been one year since I voted to pass the Bipartisan Background Checks Act, and this bill is still collecting dust in the Senate.
Our communities deserve to be safe from gun violence. I need 500 people to sign on and demand that the Senate finally pass this life-saving legislation >>

Gun safety was a top issue for Virginia voters last year, and polls show that 86% of Virginians support common sense gun reform.
But our former Republican Congressman and my current opponent, Scott Taylor, is in lock step with Senate Republicans when it comes to opposing legislation that would keep our families safe.
Taylor recently attacked Virginia Democrats for introducing common sense gun reform bills and spoke at a rally in support of local governments pledging not to enforce new gun laws. During his time in Congress, he received an "A" rating from the NRA.
It's clear that Scott Taylor is on the side of the gun lobby, not our families.
Help me send Scott Taylor and Senate Republicans a message. It's time to pass the common sense gun reforms the majority of Americans want -- add your name >>

We can't wait any longer.
