LOS ANGELES CITY RESIDENTS: URGE YOUR COUNCIL MEMBER TO SUPPORT THE RODEO ORDINANCE
Dear John,
The Los Angeles City Council is finally close to voting on the L.A. Rodeo Ordinance. This long overdue Ordinance will protect rodeo animals from abuse in the City of Los Angeles.
WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP! L.A. CITY RESIDENTS, PLEASE GO HERE TO EASILY EMAIL YOUR COUNCIL MEMBER.

Rodeo animals are chased, wrangled, roped, and tormented for entertainment. A poll conducted of 600 Los Angeles voting residents has shown strong public opposition to the cruelty involved in rodeos.
Rodeo events are outlawed in England, Scotland, Wales, Germany, and the Netherlands. Mexico City, in 2022, made bullfighting illegal after 500 years of animal suffering.
Horses, bulls, steers, and calves can suffer painful injuries, including broken ribs, backs, legs and tails, punctured lungs, internal organ damage, snapped necks, and agonizing deaths.
We will update you on the exact date the Ordinance will be called for a vote. Public testimony will be needed in support of the Ordinance. We will be encouraging all supporters to participate. More info to come.
