Hi John,

Between Phoenix Pride, striking with our labor siblings, and last week’s election, it’s been a busy time of year! I wanted to share some pictures of what I’ve been up to these past few weeks:

Last Tuesday was Election Day in Arizona and in states across the country. I was so happy to see Arizonans vote in favor of investing in our schools and our community. I was also THRILLED to see reproductive rights protected by voters in Ohio and Virginia!

EJ, Eddie, and I were so excited to support our Diamondbacks in the World Series! While they didn’t make it all the way this time, we are still so proud of our team and our city, and are excited for next season.

In my mind, PRIDE is a year-round celebration! Last month, Team Terán and I had a blast at Phoenix Pride full of mom hugs, laughs, and even tears while listening to the Phoenix Gay Men’s Chorus.

We are keeping hot strike summer going into the fall and beyond! I was proud to walk the picket line with workers at Sheraton Downtown to demand a livable wage, healthcare, and the respect they deserve. I also attended the town hall discussing the potential Fry’s and Albertson’s grocery merger in solidarity with our labor siblings and community in opposition to this merger.

Spending time meeting with folks in our community and hearing your stories is my favorite part of this campaign. We know we’ve still got a whole lot of campaigning left to do, and we couldn’t do it without your support. Can you donate to our grassroots movement to keep us moving forward?
