U.S. government confirms Hamas is using hospitals for terrorism.
Put time on your calendar for tomorrow to call your elected leaders through AIPAC’s new congressional call center.
Dear A.,
Today, 290,000 pro-Israel Americans from across parties, races, and backgrounds came together on the National Mall in support of the Jewish state. An additional 250,000 people watched the rally online.
The March for Israel was a powerful demonstration to our country’s leaders that America stands with Israel, and to the people of Israel that we have their back.
American and Israeli flags waved high and proud, as attendees sang both national anthems, prayed for the safety of the IDF soldiers and the return of the hostages, and heard powerful speeches.
Chants of "Bring Them Home," "Am Yisrael Chai," and "No Ceasefire" rang out through our nation’s capital. Members of Congress from both sides of the aisle were seen holding pictures of hostages and signs affirming their support for Israel.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said, "Israel, we in America have your back. America feels your pain. We ache with you. We stand with you. And we will not rest until you get all the assistance you need."
House Speaker Mike Johnson said, "The calls for a ceasefire are outrageous" and that America "stands unequivocally" with the Jewish state.
House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Senators Joni Ernst, Jacky Rosen and James Lankford, and Representatives Chris Smith, Kathy Manning, and Ritchie Torres also delivered strong pro-Israel remarks.
Family members of Israeli hostages held captive in Gaza delivered powerful remarks demanding to bring their loved ones home.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog addressed the crowd from the Kotel in Jerusalem: "Boys and girls shall once again play in the streets of Be’eri and Sderot, and the elderly shall sit peacefully by the walkways of Nahal Oz and Ofakim. And when the sounds of life and laughter return to the villages, the kibbutzim and the cities, our constant yearning for peace will return as well."
HAMAS USING HOSPITALS FOR TERROR: Today, White House National Security Council Spokesperson John Kirby confirmed that the U.S. has its own independent intelligence proving that Hamas is using al-Shifa hospital and other hospitals for holding hostages and terror activities. Watch and share this video showing Hamas’ abhorrent use of hospitals to fuel its terror activities.
This announcement comes as the IDF is rooting out Hamas cells operating near the Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza. Israel is working to help facilitate the evacuation of patients and is bringing incubators from Israeli hospitals to aid the treatment of babies.
Israel is surrounding Hamas’ central command and control system located underneath the hospital. Today the IDF made further progress in Gaza and took over a number of "government" buildings including the military police headquarters.
MUST-READ: In a new op-ed, Hillary Clinton makes a strong case against a ceasefire with Hamas: "A cease-fire now that restored the pre-October 7 status quo ante would leave the people of Gaza living in a besieged enclave under the domination of terrorists and leave Israelis vulnerable to continued attacks. It would also consign hundreds of hostages to continued captivity." Read her piece here in The Atlantic.
At the March today, Rep. Ritchie Torres said, "Not everyone who's calling for a ceasefire wants Israel to cease to exist, but everyone who wants Israel to cease to exist is calling for a ceasefire."
Anti-Israel activists are mobilized and demanding America force Israel into a ceasefire now with Hamas. We must continue to call Congress, urge them to resist these calls, and keep supporting Israel.
CONTACT CONGRESS TOMORROW MORNING: Set a reminder tonight to call your members in the morning, beginning at 9 a.m. ET using the AIPAC Call Center.
