Dear John,
Listen, I’m going to cut right to the chase here:
The Supreme Court’s new ethics code is neither a code nor about ethics. It’s a pathetic attempt at pacifying the public instead of holding justices accountable.
Notably, it doesn’t require any changes in the way justices conduct themselves. It has no system for the public lodge complaints. Nor does it allow for any outside review of alleged ethics violations.
We must not fall for it. Check out my quick breakdown on Instagram of what the Supreme Court did and what it means moving forward by clicking here now.
The Court’s new code would have no effect on any of the currently reported scandals, nor would it have an effect on any future scandals.
Check out the video and help us get the message out so everyone learns the truth about this blatant attempt by the Supreme Court to stop Congress from establishing actual ethics reforms our country so badly needs.
