I know what it means to struggle. I was raised by my immigrant mother and I watched as my father worked in the fields. I didn’t know we were poor then, but looking back, I’m amazed at what my parents were able to give us given the little they had.
If something doesn’t change, more and more families will continue to fall into poverty with no hope for escaping.
