Already, McConnell and his allies have launched multiple negative ad campaigns to try and tear down my Democratic colleagues.

And if we fall short of this FEC goal, it will send a big signal that their efforts are working — leading to millions of dollars in additional spending.

We have to do everything we can to prevent that from happening — and to build the resources to counter that spending if they do.
