My team and I have been sounding the alarm about the newest MAGA lunatic stepping up to replace Ken Buck now that he is officially retiring.
There is a lot to be concerned about: in a field full of extremists and out of touch GOP politicians who all pledge fealty to Trump and his dangerous rhetoric, Trent Leisy stands out. His slogan is to “Make Colorado Great Again” (very original) by gutting environmental regulations and catering to massive corporations and foreign-owned big agriculture—which would completely destroy farmers and ranchers in this part of Colorado.
If that’s how Leisy plans to “make Colorado great,” then he deserves the absolute drubbing I am going to give him in this election.
Leisy and the other wannabe MAGA candidates running against me represent the worst that Colorado has to offer—many times more toxic and destructive than our national disgrace, Lauren Boebert.
I am proud to stand up for all the people of this district and fight for what they need in Congress. But I won’t be able to defeat shameless liars like Trent Leisy if we don’t raise the resources to compete and run a real grassroots campaign that can win in November.
I truly appreciate having your support as we launch this campaign to flip this seat and stop dangerous Trump loyalists from gaining strength in Congress.
