Hi John,
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays of the year. It’s an ideal time to spend with loved ones, reflect, and give thanks for all that God has provided for us.
And I want you to know that I’m thankful for you! Without you, babies around the country would not be saved. And more children’s lives would be ended without getting a chance to experience life outside the womb. So, thank you again, John!
Because you care for life in the womb so much, I also want to let you know that #GivingTuesday is quickly approaching as well (November 28).
#GivingTuesday has become a global movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. And I want to share an exciting opportunity for you to get involved and Write the Next Chapter for the most vulnerable among us this #GivingTuesday.
Now is not the time to close the book on our battle against abortion, because thousands of babies are still being killed by abortion every day. Turn the page and you’ll see that our fight for life is far from over.
Instead, it’s time to Write the Next Chapter for the next mom and the child she is carrying in her womb.
You see, there are four major challenges still threatening the lives of babies:
1. Abortion is still widely available across the country. There are only 14 states that have banned abortion. This means children are still in danger of being aborted in about 72% of the country.
2. “Abortion trafficking” (often labeled as “abortion tourism”) sends women across state lines to kill their children before going back home.
3. The abortion pill now accounts for 54% of all abortions and is on the rise. These are often done at home and without the help of a doctor.
4. The circumstances that motivate a woman to seek an abortion haven’t gone away – from housing, medical care, and job training to transportation, financial assistance, and more. These women still need a support system to overcome their challenges.
