Hey John,

We're bringing our signature Ready to Lead training to New York City this February to empower the next cohort of fierce, community-centered immigrant leaders to make their voices heard in our democracy.

With trailblazing alumni like New York City Councilmember Shahana Hanif who became the city's first Muslim woman and one of the first South Asians elected to the council to Portland, Maine City Councilmember Pious Ali, the first African-born Muslim American to be elected to public office in Maine and one of our 2023 New American Hero Award Honorees, the Northeast holds a special place in our hearts.

Now it's time for you to join them as one of our newest Northeast trailblazers.

At Ready to Lead Northeast, you will learn how to share your powerful New American story, address and overcome racism on the campaign trail, fundraise, and organize your community to get out the vote. But most importantly, you'll join a network of other bold New American leaders who are ready to work alongside you to change the face of leadership and create a democracy that works for and represents all of us.

So what do you say? Are you ready to take the next step in your leadership journey? Apply for Ready to Lead today!

Not sure if it's for you? Have some lingering questions or concerns? RSVP to our info session on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 6p ET and meet some of our staff! 🫱🏾‍🫲🏼

We hope to review your application soon,
