This is a longer email, but I hope you’ll take a few minutes to read it and then consider chipping in $7 to support the DNC as we prepare for 2024.
Last week, we saw big wins up and down the ballot. Here’s how the DNC helped make that possible:
-
In Virginia, the DNC invested $1.5 million to support Democratic candidates -- a 15x increase in funding since 2019. We also mobilized supporters to deliver over 330,000 calls and nearly 200,000 texts to voters in the commonwealth.
-
In Ohio, we’ve increased support to the Ohio Democratic Party by 25% since 2020 and by 66% since 2016. The DNC also supported statewide volunteer GOTV efforts and mobilized supporters to make nearly 200,000 calls and nearly 700,000 texts to Ohio voters.
-
In Kentucky, we invested more than $3 million in the Kentucky Democratic Party’s coordinated campaign, a 6x increase since the last gubernatorial election. That money went toward reelecting Governor Beshear and supporting Democrats up and down the ballot.
-
We targeted state and local elections in Pennsylvania, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Washington, and more with relentless GOTV support and targeted electoral grants to fund staff and organizing programs.
Now, we’re gearing up to deliver more big wins up and down the ballot in 2024. So we’re asking: Will you make your first $7 donation this year to support the DNC’s work?
It’s going to take a massive grassroots effort to reelect President Biden and Vice President Harris, win congressional majorities, and elect Democrats at all levels of office next year. But if last week’s wins are any indication, we know this team has what it takes to do just that.
Thanks in advance for pitching in to support our work,
Becca
