John,I'm writing with urgent concern about the new Speaker of the House of Representatives. After a prolonged and often contentious process, Rep. Mike Johnson of Louisiana has been elected as the new Speaker.

However, what's deeply troubling is his history in spearheading efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

As a key figure in the attempt to challenge the election results, Rep. Johnson advocated for discarding the votes of millions of Americans. His efforts to rally support for a lawsuit aimed at invalidating election outcomes in critical states were not only misguided but posed a direct threat to our democratic process.

In his claims about states like Minnesota, where necessary adjustments were made due to the pandemic, Rep. Johnson insinuated that legitimate democratic practices were somehow illegitimate. Worse yet, he propagated baseless conspiracy theories, alleging that election equipment used in states like Minnesota was responsible for "rigging" the election.
