The Palestine Red Crescent Society said that the Al-Quds hospital is no longer operational due to fuel shortages. WHO added that Al-Shifa hospital, the largest in the Gaza Strip, "is not functioning” due to constant gunfire in the area.

House Speaker proposes bill to avoid government shutdown

U.S. Speaker of the House, Rep. Mike Johnson (R-La.), introduced a stopgap spending measure to avoid a government shutdown next week. The House and Senate must agree on a spending bill that Biden can sign into law by Friday to avoid the risk of another partial government shutdown.
