"Medicare Advantage" is a joke. The only group gaining an “Advantage” here is the private insurance companies raking in record profits.

Medicare Advantage is a private-sector alternative to traditional Medicare that was designed by Congress two decades ago to encourage health insurers to provide better care at lower cost. By next year, more than half of Medicare recipients will be in a private plan.

Privatization of Medicare is the last thing we need, John. We need to work toward single-payer universal healthcare — not the privatized scam that is Medicare Advantage.
