There is this growing sense of unease, that an impending shoe is about to drop. You probably feel it. I feel it too.
This conflict, unravelling in the Middle East, has the making of World War III, especially given the reactions that we are seeing in western countries and from their “leaders”. They know exactly what they are doing, and we are the ones who risk paying the price.
This battle is not *just* between Israelis and Palestinians.
In this episode, I address the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine. I explain my concern about the growing unease in the world and my desire to seek knowledge for understanding. Since a LOT of people decided to give very uninformed, yet confident, opinions about the conflict and its nature, I felt the need to go over some historical basics.
Does Hamas represent the Palestinian people?
I then analyze the role of the parties involved, including Hamas and the Palestinian Authority, and their impact on the conflict. I question the global response to the conflict, highlighting the contrasting perspectives and actions of world leaders and the media.
We need to understand the importance of historical context and of forming informed opinions based on facts rather than emotions.
