One reason I’m proud to manage Andrei’s campaign is the work he did with Elizabeth Warren to help create the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). So, when I saw that David Schweikert voted for an amendment to defund the CFPB last week, I had to reach out.
The CFPB has a simple but critical mission: to protect consumers from unfair, deceptive, and abusive financial practices. Now, Schweikert is going after it. I’d be surprised by that, but he’s taken over $1 million from financial industry corporate PACs while in Congress.
Unlike Schweikert, Andrei isn’t taking a dime from corporate PACs. Instead, he’s relying on people like you to fuel our people-powered campaign. So, can I count on you to step up and chip in to help us defeat Schweikert and protect the CFPB?
