Ballots due back by 12noon on 31st March

The elections to Seanad Éireann are underway and take place in the aftermath of a General Election that saw a number of excellent pro-life candidates elected.
The elections for the National University of Ireland and Trinity College panels are taking place by postal ballot. Registered voters will have received their ballots in recent days and all ballots must be returned to the relevant returning officers by 12noon on 31st March 2020.
There are 10 candidates running for three seats on the Trinity Panel and 19 candidates running for three seats on the NUI panel.
Senator Rónán Mullen is the only candidate between the two university panels (NUI and Trinity) who has publicly declared as pro-life and has a strong record of defending the right to life.
Thankfully there are also a number of pro-life candidates running for the five Vocational Panels (to which 43 Senators will be elected). Only serving public representatives have a vote for these panels. It’s important, if your local public representatives support the pro-life position, that you ask them to vote for candidates who will stand up for life in the next Seanad.
