On Veterans Day of all days, Donald Trump threatened to “root out” his political opponents. He called them “vermin.”

His advisors have released draconian immigration plans, calling for the deportation of millions. They plan to hollow out the federal government and replace thousands of career public servants with MAGA fanatics. They have openly talked about weaponizing the military and federal law enforcement against protestors.

They aren’t even trying to hide it anymore. Trump’s ultimate goal is a dictatorship. A second Trump presidency could be the end of American democracy as we know it.

Ruben Gallego is a Marine. He swore to defend our Constitution, and he’s no stranger to a tough fight.
