Today, this popular bird is always with friends, but her life was once very different. Early one morning in 2014, we found 24 baby turkeys left at our New York sanctuary overnight.
Likely from a factory farm, they were dirty, sick, and had been cruelly “debeaked,” including sweet Arendelle, who was also left with arthritis.
In our care, Arendelle’s happily living out her golden years. She goes for what she wants: getting treats, snuggling friends, and gazing at the sky — things she couldn’t do on a factory farm.
In gratitude, we’ll send you an adoption certificate — digital or print (shown below) — with Arendelle's photos and rescue story.
Place this year’s card on your holiday table to celebrate turkeys as friends, not food. Or send “The Cuddle Bug” of the flock to your loved ones to share a kinder holiday season together.
We’re so thankful for your compassion! Together, let’s create a world in which sanctuary replaces slaughter. Thank you for considering our time-honored holiday tradition!
With love and gratitude,
Farm Sanctuary
P.S. Meet the four other adoptable turkeys this year: Tutu “The Charmer,”Lizzie “The Free Spirit,”Celeborn “The Protector,” and Thelma “The Tender Heart.” Or multiply your impact by adopting the flock with a one-time $150 gift.
