END THE MUSLIM BAN
Tell Congress to vote YES on the NO BAN Act.
|

Dear Friend,
You've known it from the start: the Muslim Ban is wrong. It was wrong when it was first introduced three years ago, and it's wrong today. At its core, it is rooted in divisiveness, fearmongering, and hate. Nobody should be separated from their family because of their religion or where they come from – but that's exactly what President Trump's Muslim Ban is doing to tens of thousands of people.
But there is a solution: the NO BAN Act, which would repeal the Muslim Ban and prevent future administrations from enacting similar discriminatory policies. Thanks to people like you speaking out, Congressional leadership has just announced that this bill will be brought to a vote in the House of Representatives this week.
The timing of this vote is crucial: just a few weeks ago, President Trump expanded his ban to include people from six more countries. From slashing the number of refugees we admit to forcing people at the border back into harm's way, this administration will seemingly stop at nothing in its quest to reverse long-standing US values of tolerance and inclusion.
We need to collectively send a strong message that our communities will stand together and fight back in the face of hatred and bigotry.
It was devastating when the Supreme Court upheld this discriminatory ban in 2018, but Congress has the power to end this ban once and for all.
Now is our chance to take action and demand our Representatives vote YES on the NO BAN Act.
Thank you for standing with us and with the millions of people in the US and around the world who have been affected by this cruel and un-American ban.
Sincerely,
Gina Cummings
