I am excited to extend an invitation to you for the European Green Party’s 7^th Extended Congress, taking place in Lyon, France, from 2 to 4 February 2024, at the Centre de Congrès.

The Electoral Congress is a pivotal moment in our preparations for the 2024 European Parliament Elections. During the Congress, over a thousand Green delegates, leaders, candidates, activists, partners and supporters from across Europe will come together, with the common goal of shaping our road to the elections in June 2024.

At these elections, every vote will influence Europe's response to the many challenges and crises our continent is facing. As Greens, we are fighting for a sustainable, just and democratic vision for a stronger European Union as the core of our political project. In a time when our values are being more and more attacked by anti-democrats and the extreme right, the need for a strong, collective Green voice in Europe is more critical than ever.

For us as European Greens, the Congress will therefore be a key moment in the run-up to the elections. In Lyon, we will be able to show once again that we are a united and growing European family that is ready to work together and face the challenges of the years to come.

The highlights of this Congress include the election of our two leading candidates who will be the heart and face of our common campaign, the adoption of our common election manifesto and campaign priorities, and a vote on the candidacy of new member parties to join our European Green family.

And you are invited to be part of this event! Come join us in Lyon to discuss, connect, and contribute to our 2024 election campaign!
