Alison Esposito is wrong for NY-18, but she’s exactly the kind of candidate Stefanik and the radicalized faction of the GOP support. Esposito will be a rubber stamp for their agenda. She supports banning abortion with no exceptions. She called the issue of gun violence ‘a distraction,’ and she’s aligned herself with the insurrectionists working to undermine our democracy. Worse still, she said in a recent interview that she would proudly vote for Donald Trump again.

This endorsement is a big deal: Elise Stefanik wants nothing more than to defeat Pat next year to reinforce the House GOP’s weak, narrow majority.
