Wow. On Veterans Day, of all days, Donald Trump disparaged his political opponents by referring to Democrats as “vermin” and even suggested they pose a greater threat to our country than North Korea or Russia. Really. Language like this is something you’d expect from a dictator trying to instill fear. Not from the presidential frontrunner of the Republican Party. John, for me this is personal. I defended our democracy in the U.S. Marines. I work with a bipartisan staff to run clean and fair elections for our state. Now, the likely presidential nominee of the Republican Party is actively trying to undermine the core values of our nation. My friends at the Democratic Association of Secretaries of State are monitoring these threats and are gearing up for the long fight ahead, but they need the support from grassroots Democrats like you.
