Then: Sherrod’s opponents began writing themselves MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR CHECKS to fund their campaigns.

Now: A new poll was released showing one of Sherrod’s opponents SURGING, 38% to 39%.

GOP groups are going to dump in millions more to unseat Sherrod — which could mean even *more* negative attack ads in a race that could decide Senate control.
