Washington state law requires elected officials like Bob to stop all fundraising from midnight December 8th until the legislative session concludes next year. That means if you send us a check, we send it back – no exceptions!
Because Bob’s anti-choice Republican opponent, Dave Reichert, is not an elected official, he will be allowed to fundraise while Bob can’t, potentially raking in millions of dollars to defeat Bob in the governor’s race.
That’s why we set an ambitious goal to raise $750,000 before we close the books on December 8. We know it’s a lot, but that’s what it will take for us to win.
