The second one is where we’re going to need all hands on deck

Congress is four days away from a government shutdown because extremists in the House have so far chosen to put partisan politics over our nation’s economic well-being.

The Blue Dogs are working this from two angles.

  1. We’re not giving up on bipartisanship. As long as there are folks on the other side who genuinely want to find a way forward, we’ll be working with them to try to hammer out a solution.
  2. We’re going to replace the extremists who refuse to come to the table.

On the first point, we promise you we’re doing everything we can. On the second point, we need your help to make good on our promise to oust extremists and replace them with honest, genuine leaders.
