Congress has 4 working days left to pass a funding bill in order to avert a government shutdown at midnight this Friday.

Extremists in the House are pushing deep cuts to services like Head Start, K-12 education, mental health services, and WIC. The last thing we need is a government shutdown over right-wing demands.

And while many members of Congress are focused only on the cost of each program, we’re focused on the human lives that each program serves.
