This weekend, I filed the paperwork for re-election to continue serving the people of Texas’ Seventh Congressional District. That means it’s official—my name will be on the 2024 ballot!
In 2018, we built a broad and diverse coalition together to bring a little more Houston to Washington, D.C. As the first Democrat in more than 50 years, and the first woman ever, to represent Texas’ Seventh Congressional District, I am proud to work with partners across our cities, counties, state, and country to make meaningful progress and to protect our democracy. I am honored to have the support of so many community leaders and organizations who have already endorsed my re-election.
I will continue to bring people together to do the critical work ahead to defend our democracy, ensure equality, and restore our rights, all of which are on the ballot in 2024.
