**I'm running for Congress in Oklahoma's 1st District to represent the Reasonable Majority of Oklahomans** who expect their Representative to legislate in the best interests of America. **I’m running to end the burn-it-all-down extremism of MAGA Rep. Kevin Hern** that is destroying our country.



America has been taken to the brink of a government shutdown three times since the MAGAs gained a majority in the U.S. House last year. **It’s never-ending.** The third time’s a charm for MAGAs. They’ll get their wish for a government shutdown on November 18th.



Here’s how they’re doing it:



1 – Speaker MAGA Mike Johnson proposed a two-step continuing resolution that doesn’t include emergency funding for Israel, Ukraine or our border. **Why should MAGAs only have budget drama every October when they can have year-round funding drama and isolate, attack, and kill programs they hate** - like Social Security, Medicare and the School Lunch Program?



2 – MAGAs are going on Fox News again pretending to be budget hawks.



3 – MAGAs are blaming Democrats, stirring up their base and fundraising off it. Meanwhile, the Reasonable Majority can do nothing but hope the Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate fixes it.



Our campaign strongly opposes Hern’s role in the political extremism that is dividing our country. **We believe it’s time for the Reasonable Majority to put an end to it by voting for Representatives who place America’s best interests above politics.** Who want to pass meaningful legislation that moves our country forward. **Who have a realistic understanding of the hard diplomacy needed to work with the other side to make incremental progress** while keeping focused on creating the best version of America.



**To not give in to cynicism. To not give up on Oklahoma. To not give up on America.**
