Friend, I have to be honest: we’ve seen a slight dip in our grassroots fundraising over the last few weeks.

Considering many folks are gearing up for the holidays, spending time with family and friends, and taking time away from political news, this isn't very surprising.

But here’s the issue: Republicans know this too, and they know that the path to holding onto the House majority requires flipping seats like mine in 2024, so they’re working overtime to pour money into this race and attack me.

And here’s the good news: Our grassroots team is no stranger to tough fights. Last year, we ran a strong campaign all the way to Election Day, electing me as the first woman to represent IL-13 and flipping this seat blue for the first time in decades.

This didn’t happen overnight, friends.

Thousands of grassroots supporters pitched in every month to help power us over the finish line, and I know we can do it again if we start working together now to prepare for the obstacles we’ll face down the road.
