John, the Associated Press recently reported that "Younger voters will be critical in 2024."
It's true. Young voters in general — and young Latinos in particular — will play a critical role in next year's elections, for many reasons. Here are three:
1️⃣ Young people support Democratic candidates. The 2022 midterm elections marked the first time young people's Democratic support has been greater than 60% for two consecutive midterm elections. That includes a midterm with a Democratic incumbent president, when support for the party in power tends to decline.

2️⃣ Young people make up a bigger portion of the Latino vote than ever before. Over the past eight years, the population of young Latino voters has grown exponentially. Millennial and Gen Z voters now account for 38% of the Latino electorate nationwide!

3️⃣ Young Latinos' support for Democrats is at an all-time high. In 2020, 65% of young Latinos supported Democratic candidates. In 2022, that number increased to 70%. If we can register and mobilize more young Latinos than ever before, we can help create the youngest, most diverse, and most pro-choice electorate in our nation's history.
More than 4 million young Latinos will reach voting age by next year's election. Donate now to help Voto Latino reach them >>
