How Do You Define Citizenship and Civic Virtues?

In lesson two of the MyImpact Challenge curriculum, walk through how the Founding Fathers defined citizenship and civic virtues' role in modeling a more perfect union.

The student activity provides an exercise designed to make students interpret what citizenship means to them. Next, students will decipher citizenship quotes from the Founding Fathers.

“Public virtue cannot exist in a nation without private [virtue] and public virtue is the only foundation of republics.”-John Adams to Mercy Otis Warren, April 16, 1776
