Last week, I spoke with BRProud in Baton Rouge about my plan to lower crime and build compassionate communities as Louisiana's next AG.

I’ve always believed that the Attorney General should represent the people of Louisiana in all aspects of the role — especially in addressing crime.

As your Attorney General, I’ll invest in recidivism programs to lower crime and build safer neighborhoods. I’ll address the root of crime by working with local communities around the state to improve their relationship with law enforcement. I also want to create a civil rights division at the Attorney General’s Office to work with law enforcement to promote accountability. I’m prepared to do the work to keep our people safe.
