Our webinar on the Gaza Crisis is today. This is a little reminder to register now. We really hope you can join us at 5.30 pm this evening.

It is hard not to feel helpless as we watch the horror unfolding on the news. Palestinian and Israeli civilians have faced appalling attacks, with thousands of people killed, families torn apart forever, and vast swathes of Gaza destroyed entirely. 

Even with all the coverage, it’s hard to keep up with what exactly is going on, and what can be done to help. 

Today at 5.30 pm, this webinar will look to help unpack this complex situation and bring voices from the ground directly to you.

As the humanitarian and advocacy lead in Oxfam, I have spent the last few weeks hearing from colleagues in Gaza on the horrifying impact that the conflict is having on civilians there. 

Even with the knowledge that conflict and war hits the poorest people hardest, the first-hand accounts are truly shocking, but they are essential to hear during this rapidly spiralling catastrophe.

This evening, I’ll introduce you to my Oxfam colleagues in the Occupied Palestinian Territory who want to share their experiences with you. The scenes they have witness can only be described as unimaginable to so many of us.

With the help of those working on the humanitarian response, we will discuss what we can do, together, in the name of humanity. 

Finally, there will be time for you to ask questions about the devastating events we are all witnessing.
