
I hope this finds you well! I’m writing to invite you to an event I’m helping to organize about the climate crisis, global justice, and what we can do in Chicago to build a better world.
During the first half of December, governments from around our globe will be meeting at the 28th United Nations Climate Conference (COP28), to discuss policies to limit global temperature increases and adapt to impacts associated with climate change. On December 9th, while COP28 is underway in Dubai, Justice is Global will be hosting an education and community building event across Chicago and inviting people to sign our Climate Cooperation Pledge.

It’ll be from 10AM-12PM at Guild Row in Avondale.
We’ll hear from migrant justice organizers, climate activists, elected officials, and community members. We’ll also have live music and refreshments.
