We cannot allow an illegitimate Supreme Court to dismantle every right and freedom we have.

Friend —

Ed Markey's tweet: 'It has never been more clear. Our Supreme Court is being controlled by a captured right-wing majority. We need to expand the Court and pass a binding code of ethics. Next week's Judiciary Committee vote represents an important step but we have a long way to go.'

If you agree with Ed, we need your help to take action. Click here to sign our petition and voice your support for expanding the Supreme Court and passing a binding code of ethics.

SIGN THE PETITION

Today’s SCOTUS majority is the result of decades of Republicans delegitimizing and hijacking the judicial system of our country. And to make things worse, serious ethical violations involving members of the court and their families have been brought to light.

In April 2021 — more than two years ago — Ed first introduced the Judiciary Act, which would take back the two stolen Supreme Court seats. Since then, he’s called for Congress to pass a binding code of ethics for Supreme Court justices, as well.

Expanding the Court and holding wrongdoing accountable is supported by the vast majority of Democrats and a plurality of voters across the country. It’s the right thing to do, it is popular, and it is urgently necessary.

But unfortunately as we’ve seen over the past two years, even when a solution is simple, it is not always easy. That’s why we’re asking you to make your voice heard today:

Add your name to our petition: We must expand the Supreme Court of the United States and begin taking steps toward securing justice for all.

We cannot allow the far-right to continue using the Supreme Court to dismantle every right and freedom we have. We must fight back.

As always, thank you for being a part of our movement, and for adding your support today.

In solidarity,

Team Markey
