Here’s the facts on my newest announced opponent: he’s a far-right extremist who wants to build a literal wall at our southern border, repeal the ACA, expand gun rights to allow firearms to be carried across state lines, defund Planned Parenthood, and believes that any abortion is murder.

There’s no question that Republicans like my opponent want me out of office -- and we know they’ll do whatever they can to drag me through the mud and paint me as someone I’m not.

He’s already suggesting that I’m a “socialist” and going after my character. But we both know who I am and that I’m in Congress to protect our shared American values from right-wing attacks.

Our team needs to be ready for the next shady political trick to mislead voters. That’s why we’re building our emergency response budget today.
